Two Tampa Homes Are Finalists In HGTV Contest
Ultimate House Hunt Features These Bay Area Houses
As it turns out, the unique real estate Tampa Bay has to offer is gaining some positive buzz! Two homes in the 813 area are finalists for HGTV's latest Ultimate House Hunt - the House Hunt is a yearly competition where site-goers can vote for their favorites.
The first contestant is 1903 S Cardenas Avenue, 1 of 11 finalists in the group "Amazing Kitchens." The open kitchen features plenty of seating, golden accents, and upgrades galore. The home previously sold this spring for $3.3 million.
The description describes the kitchen as follows: "Warm, bronze tones extend from the modern, brown breakfast nook with a contemporary chandelier over to the marble waterfall edge kitchen island with four cushioned bar chairs."
The second contestant is "The Oaks," an estate on Lake Thonotosassa which falls under the Outdoor Escapes category. The property spans 36 acres and extensive lush landscaping.
The home itself features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, seven half bathrooms, a bowling alley, workshop, guest house, gatehouse, barn, indoor and outdoor pools, a 20-car garage, running trail and go-cart track. The home sold previously for $16.7 million in April.
