2021 is expected to be a busy year for new restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. Here are some restaurants to look forward to opening this year.
Buzzed Bull
Known for their boozy liquid nitrogen shakes, Buzzed Bull is set to open its first Florida location in Tampa in 2021. They serve boozy and non-alcoholic scoops and shakes. There is a variety of flavors such as Death By Chocolate, which is made with chocolate ice cream, brownie bits, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce on top, and chocolate vodka.
Job Site Burgers
St. Pete is going to be getting its first stuffed burger joint that will be opening in the Grand Central District. This new concept allows customers to choose whatever ingredients they want their burger stuffed with. They also offer a few signature stuffed burgers that are on the menu.
Mutts and Martinis
St. Pete's Grand Central District will also be getting a full-liquor bar and dog waterpark combo. The front patio will have a zero-entry splash pool, water sprays, and fountains for dogs to enjoy on hot Florida days. There is also shade and indoor space which has a playground for the dogs and a bar for the humans.
Dignitary Cafe
This brick-and-mortar cafe will be located in South Tampa and was created by former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Ian Beckles. The cafe is meant to serve as an extension of Beckles' "Dignitary Life" business, which is a company that connects influential individuals in Tampa Bay to local businesses. The cafe is set to feature local coffee, local bites, CBD, and other local products.
Central Park
Set to open in the Summer of 2021, Central Park is aiming to be a "culinary hub for the local community". The building will be 24,000 sqft and will feature a bar and flagship food hall that will focus on "healthy" European dining, as well as a variety of international eateries. It will also feature the award-winning Speaks Clam bar which offers fresh seafood, Italian specialties, pasta, and garden-to-glass cocktails. The third floor is going to feature a rooftop dining concept by chef Natalie Levey.
Nice Cream Shake Bar
Founded by sisters Cait and Chelsea Valentin, this milkshake trailer will feature vegan-friendly desserts. Their plans for the shake bar are to attend food truck rallies and markets as well as cater private events like parties and weddings. The vegan shakes are topped with doughnuts, cookies, and other various vegan desserts.
Sorrento Sweets
While this restaurant is located in Hyde Park Village, they are going to be expanding to St. Pete. The new location is going to be within the former Brew D Licious space. Soon you'll be able to enjoy espresso drinks, pastries, gelato, and sandos at the new St. Pete location.
The Chelsea
This new coffee shop is set to open in early 2021 in St. Pete's Warehouse Arts District. Their menu features coffee, tea, beer, wine, and bites. The space is also being planned to be used to sell a variety of decor, art, and home accessories.
Kale Me Crazy
Opening at Midtown Tampa in early 2021, Kale Me Crazy's mission is to support a healthy lifestyle through the use of fresh, organic, and raw foods. Their menu will feature items such as juices, smoothies, salads, and wraps.
Lingr Restaraunt
Celebrity chef Jeffrey Jew and his team are planning to open his first solo concept in St. Pete. The menu is set to feature Nordic and Asian-inspired cuisine. The restaurant will offer indoor and outdoor seating for guests.
