The Art of The Garden Exhibition Brings Organic Beauty to St Petersburg
This Exhibition at CraftFlorida Highlights The Natural Aesthetic of the Garden
The Art of the Garden exhibition at Florida CraftArt in St. Petersburg aims to encourage the inclusion of art in nature and features works primarily inspired by gardens. The focus of the presentation is to show how art can be both inside and outside of the natural world. This inspiration and a love for nature fueled the creation of a distinctive selection of handcrafted jewelry, mosaics, and ceramics. A total of 90 unique pieces were created by the group of 50 artists.
The show will be judged by Jennifer O Rominiecki, who is the current president and CEO of Marie Selby Botanical Gardens and possesses 15 years of experience with The New York Botanical Garden. Along with her expertise, a People’s Choice Award will be awarded to the work that gets the most votes from the community. The general public can vote for their favorite piece at the Florida CraftArt Exhibition Gallery or via Facebook up until the exhibit closes. “Art of the Garden” is running until April 19th so there is still time to grab tickets for this inspiring and beautiful showcase!
