Visit these Tampa spots at no cost on Free Museum Day!

Tampa offers various exhibits that suits all curiosities. On Free Museum Day, September 17, 2022, many of these museums offer free entry with a Museum Day ticket. All participating museums around the nation are listed here. Listed below are the museums in the Tampa area that are participants of Free Museum Day. Online reservations may be required so be sure to check with the museum beforehand. 

Tampa Museum of Art - Located at 120 West Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa's Museum of Art exhibits stunning sculptures and classic works of photography.

Florida Museum of Photographic Arts - FMoPPA collects, preserves and exhibits contemporary works by nationally and internationally known photography artists. Located at 400 North Ashley Drive.

Henry B Plant Museum - Inside the old Tampa Bay Hotel Building, this museum displays furnishings enjoyed by the first guests here. Located at 401 West Kennedy Boulevard.

Tampa Bay History Center - 3 floors of galleries, the Tampa Bay History Center displays the wild story of Tampa and all that has happened to get where it is today. Located at 801 Old Water Street.

Cracker Country - This 1890's living history museum takes us back in time. Cracker Country provides hands on learning and education on old Florida. Located at 4800 Highway 301 North.
