Tampa International Airport To Get 10 New Nonstop Routes

Breeze Airways is making its inaugural market Tampa Bay!

Breeze Airways is a new U.S. carrier from the JetBlue founder, David Neeleman. Their network will include 39 nonstop routes between 16 cities in the Southwest, Midwest, Southeast, and Eastern U.S. Starting May 27th, the first flights will operate between Tampa, Charleston, and Hartford. The remaining destinations are set to be added each week through July 2021.

The very first Breeze flight will take off from TPA and land in Charleston. Below is a full list of new destinations to be added:

  • Charleston, S.C.
  • Louisville, K.Y.
  • Oklahoma City, O.K.
  • Tulsa, O.K.
  • Norfolk, V.A.
  • Bentonville/Fayetteville, A.R.
  • Akron/Canton, O.H.
  • Richmond, V.A.
  • Columbus, O.H.
  • Huntsville, A.L.

The aircraft is set to have a two-by-two seat configuration, meaning there will be no middle seats. Guests can choose from "Nice" regular seating or "Nicer" seats that will have extra legroom. Breeze Airways is described as "a new low-cost airline offering point-to-point flights from smaller secondary airports, bypassing hubs for shorter travel times."
