Tampa Bay Lightning Will Allow Fans To Return To Games

Fans Can Attend Lightning Games Again On March 13th

Good news for Lightning fans: the iconic Tampa hockey team will welcome fans back to games starting March 13th!

With a limited capacity of 3,800 fans, the games will not be quite as populated as they once were - but this is a great opportunity to get out and show your support for your favorite local team!

There are 18 home games remaining on the Lightning's 2020-2021 schedule, with the last one scheduled for May 7th against the Dallas Stars. The team is recommending that fans sign up for the Lightning insider newsletter to stay updated on any changes to the schedule or stadium rules. You can do so by clicking here.

Please note Amalie Arena will be employing new safety features to keep fans and staff healthy while games return. Arena staff will increase frequency of cleaning and sanitation in all areas being used with an emphasis on commonly used surfaces such as seats, handrails and bathrooms. Signage and physical distancing measures have been added to assure six-foot separation between patrons. Concession and retail stands will be cashless and contactless. Hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the facility for use. In addition, ultra-violet disinfectant lights have been installed at various locations including escalator handrails and the number of people allowed on elevators at one time will also be limited. Masks will be required throughout the arena concourses and seating areas when not eating or drinking.
