Santa Fest is Coming December 3rd

Curtis Hixon Park is busy preparing for their big holiday bash happening in Downtown Tampa Saturday, December 3rd. Filled with Tampa traditions that many local families grew up with, this celebration will kick off with a Christmas Parade at 1:00 pm, complete with 90 different participants marching through the Downtown Area, as well as plenty of music, floats, and fun.

Following the parade is Santa Fest from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, a holly jolly celebration of all things Chris Kringle as Santa and friends convene Downtown to spread holiday cheer and take photos with the citizens of Tampa. Santa Fest will also feature fun activities and seasonal crafts for the whole family!

The Tree Lighting Ceremony is next, with Mayor Castor joining Santa in illuminating Downtown with a beautiful Christmas tree! The ceremony will take place from 6:00 to 6:30 PM.


Rounding out the evening is a showing of a contemporary classic Christmas movie,  Vince Vaughn's Fred Claus from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
