Local Record Stores Celebrate With Special Releases on April 23rd

With plenty of big-name concerts, fun venues, and a growing underground music scene, Tampa Bay truly is a town for audiophiles. One facet of Tampa’s music scene that continues to grow is record stores. Record sales across the country have seen a boom in recent years, as vinyl records have hit a 30-year high in 2021, with one in three albums purchased last year being a vinyl record.

Saturday, April 23rd, marks Record Store Day, which celebrates the unique culture of record stores and crate digging. One of the key draw to this event is the limited-edition releases from artists like David Bowie, Mariah Carrey, Elton John, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and much more.
