Publix To Open Pours Craft Beer Bar In South Tampa

Publix plans to tear down South Tampa location and replace it with a craft beer bar

Publix will be creating a Pours craft beer bar in South Tampa. The concept comes from the popular Pours department in their GreenWise stores. The Pours department features a variety of different beverages including craft beer wine, kombucha, coffee, and more. 

The GreenWise stores offer shopping carts with cup holders in them so customers can grab a beverage from Pours and sip on it throughout their shopping trip. While there is no set timeline for the bar yet, past tours of other GreenWise locations mention the craft beer bar as something customers in South Tampa can look forward to.

The location will be set to go at the intersection of Gandy Blvd and Himes Ave. Other upgrades for the prototype Publix location include a specialty cheese section, mezzanine level lounge as well as a drive-thru pharmacy. While you wait for the new bar to open up, you can visit one of the existing GreenWise locations in Odessa and Lakeland.
