‘Wacky and Weird’ Ice Cream to Hyde Park
OddFellows brings ‘Wacky and Weird’ Ice Cream to Hyde Park Village
OddFellows Ice Cream Co. is the newest resident of Hyde Park, Tampa and is already a hit with its rotating list of strange and inventive flavors.
Inside the bright and colorful parlor, guests can select from more than two dozen different ice cream flavors including vegan options and even a couple sorbets. OddFellows has expected standards like vanilla bean, chocolate chunk and cookies cream, but it’s in their “wacky and weird’ ice cream that the concept truly shines.
Flavors like Peanut Butter + Jelly, Italian Cookie Crumble, Matcha Passionfruit Coconut, Olive Oil Jelly Donut, Cheddar Apple Pie, Chocotorta, Cherry Cheesecake and the delectable Miso Peanut Butter Brownie are just a few of the nearly 20 permanent options available.
Trying out samples is encouraged and certainly understandable when taking a chance on some of their unique creations. If you really can’t decide, one of their best options is a $10 ice cream flight that lets you get small portions of six different flavors.
OddFellows describes itself as “a small-batch ice cream company with a compulsive creativity problem. We have concocted more than 500 wacky and weird flavors alongside reimagined and improved classics. Our ice cream is like driving 31 in a 25, honking the horn the entire time.”
OddFellows opened its first shop in Brooklyn in 2013 and has since opened a handful of locations in NYC. This is it's first foray into Florida, choosing to open late 2021 in Tampa!
