New Asian Cuisine in Tampa

Wagamama Opens in Tampa

A new Asian restaurant is coming to Tampa, called Wagamama. This Asian cuisine is opening its first Florida location on 1050 Water Street on February 11th. This restaurant is claimed to be a full-service and high-energy eatery. Wagamama is inspired by fast-paced Japanese ramen bars and boasts their different ramen, noodle dishes, appetizers, and craft cocktails. This restaurant has claimed that it wants to inspire people to get more out of life by "eating positively". It brings a different approach to the typical Asain dishes by bringing in more modern ideas.

With all meals cooked to order and served from wok to your table, Wagamama is set to be a complete hit in the Tampa area. Wagamama is open for lunch and dinner from 11 am to 11 pm Sunday through Thursday, and 11 am to 12 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Up until now, Wagamama only had locations across Atlanta, Boston, and New York City. Now with it being in Tampa, locals are in for a delightful treat of what this restaurant has to offer. This restaurant is going to be something that Tampa has never seen before. Modernized Asian food and drinks will definitely be a new Friday night tradition.

Wagamama's menu consists of big plates, shareables, wraps, desserts, and drinks. The drink menu has options of fresh juices, beer, cocktails, soft drinks, hot beverages, sake, and wine. The most popular items on their menu includes Tantanmen Beef Brisket Ramen, Pork Belly and Panko Apple Bao, Banana Katsu, and Avant Garden which is vegan. For the wraps on the menu, there is a loved dish of Duck Lettuce Wraps which is a fan favorite. This wrap includes cherry hoisin duck, cucumber, pickled carrot, and cucumbers. So, mark your calendars to try this special spot on February 11th.
