Local Comedians Raising Money For Independent Entertainment Venues

Tampa Comedians To Raise Money For Local Venues With Comedy Show

It's no secret that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative effect on local entertainment venues. Without the ability to host shows and events, these pillars of our local commmunity are suffering and are at risk of closing down without some financial assistance.

Entertainers nationwide have taken to using the hashtag #saveourstages to raise awareness for the unique scenario these venues find themselves in. 

Local comedians Johnny B, Steve Miller, Matt Fernandez and John Jacobs (all of whom have won awards for their comedic stylings) will host a night of comedy at The Attic in Ybor City in an effort to raise funds for affected venues in the Greater Tampa Bay area. Ticket sales and donations will benefit the National Independent Venue Association.
