Lighted Holiday Boat Parade Coming To Tampa
Celebrate the holidays Tampa style with a lighted boat parade
To coincide with the Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park, Tampa will be having its own lighted holiday boat parade. Boat parades are a tradition known to Tampa celebrations and the holidays are no different.
The parade will be held on December 19 at 6:30pm and will happen along the Hillsborough River. The parade will start in the Convention Center basin, travel to the Heights, and end at Sparkman Wharf.
While viewing the parade is completely free, you can also bring your lighted holiday boat and join the parade for $50 per vessel. There will be judges from Big Brother and Big Sisters and the winner of the sailboat and motorboat competitions will each receive a trophy. The deadline to register is December 11.
