ECOmersion offers kayak rental and tours of Florida's mangroves

Whether you live in Florida or are visiting, one of the best ways to experience the ocean is to kayak and venture through the mangroves. ECOmersion, a kayak tour company in St. Petersburg, offers kayak rentals and tours of Weedon Island. ECOmersion's mission is to get people outside and connected with nature. The organization donates a percentage of proceeds to local and national groups including Clearwater Marine Aquarium and Tampa Bay Watch to improve marine life. 

ECOmersion offers rentals for single kayaks, tandem kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and canoes. Rentals are offered for a single hour, 2 hours, or 4 hours and ranges in price.  Rental information including cost can be found here. 

Tours are led by a guide that will guide you through the miles of mangroves in Weedon Island. Along the tour, guests keep a lookout for various marine life including manatees, dolphins, crabs, mullets, and endless species of birds. The kayak tours do not require previous experience and are available for people ages 8-85!
