Busch Gardens released the highly anticipated POV footage of Iron Gwazi
This tallest hybrid coaster in North America is set to open in the Spring of 2021 and Busch Gardens just released the POV footage for this highly buzzed-about ride. Click HERE to watch the video. The roller coaster is 206 feet tall and will feature a 91-degree-drop.
The original Gwazi was opened in June of 1999 and closed indefinitely in February of 2015 due to low ride attendance, operating costs, and negative guest feedback. The reborn ride retains much of the original wooden structure but it's now combined with a steel structure to make for a smoother and faster ride.
Iron Gwazi was originally set to open in 2020 but was pushed back to 2021 due to COVID-19.
