The Firestone Grand Prix Returns to St. Pete This March
The Firestone Grand Prix is presented by RP funding and it will be a week full of events. Appearing through the week will be 10 individual races, with 6 different series. The races will be going down the runway at Albert Whitted Airport and then speeds around the Dail and alongside the downtown waterfront beneath the St. Pete skyline.
This will be the 19th annual Firestone Grand Prix. And will be held during Florida's spring break season. St. Petersburg is known as the designated city for hosting this yearly motorsport tradition with of course offering a festival feel within its downtown location. The short-term lap is 1.8 miles, with 14 turn layouts, using the streets going around Pioneer Park, Duke energy center of Arts, the Dali Museum, and proceeding its way to the Albert Whitted Airport.
Before the end of February, the construction and opening events are set to take place. The race will be happening from March 3rd through the 5th in Downtown St. Petersburg.
