Big Names in Music Are Coming To Tampa This Fall

Tours Featuring Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, Smashing Pumpkins, and Jane's Addiction Will Be At The Bay This Fall

As concert lineups are starting to be announced for Fall tours, Tampa Bay continues its tradition as a destination for live music. Two major tours were confirmed to have a stop in Tampa, with some big names set to perform.

Hip-hop icons Nas and Wu-Tang Clan have announced their New York State of Mind Tour is coming to the Bay this Fall, with a show at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheater on September 21st. On the tails of King’s Disease II, Nas’ Grammy-winning 2020 album, Nas has long been at the forefront of hip-hop since his platinum 1994 album Illmatic. The Staten Island-based supergroup, Wu-Tang Clan has also been in the limelight recently, producing an original biographical series about the group on Hulu, and getting Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) archived in the Library of Congress.

The Smashing Pumpkins and Jane’s Addiction, two alt-rock legends, will also be coming to Tampa with their Spirits on Fire tour on October 7th at Amalie Arena. With influential tracks like 1979 and Been Caught Stealing respectively, the two groups were both defining acts of the 1990s in their own right and have continued to produce music into the 2020s. Smashing Pumpkins Frontman Billy Corgan has also announced new music from the group coming this year.

With tickets for each tour going on sale Friday, May 13th, do you plan on going to see live music this Fall?
