The Brooksville Blueberry Festival Returns April 24th
This Two-Day Celebration of All Things Blueberry will Bring a Weekend of Music, Entertainment, and Berry-Based Treats to Hernando County!
Spring is the perfect time to enjoy fresh blueberries in Florida, and the excitement is beginning to build amongst local farms and vendors. But why just buy berries from the grocery store when you can enjoy an all-encompassing blueberry event you’ll never forget? Introducing, the annual Brooksville Blueberry Festival!
A beloved tradition of the Brooksville area, the Brooksville Blueberry Festival includes free live music and a pick-your-own blueberry experience at the nearby Upicktopia. For those who enjoy craft beers, the Craft Beer Garden is sure to be a hit. The highlight of the event is, of course, the various blueberry food and drinks available at Blueberry Lane. You can sample anything from blueberry pie and cheesecakes to blueberry wine and honey alongside freshly picked blueberries or buy blueberry soaps, plants, and other crafts to take home.
There are some new additions to the festival this year in the form of two brand new areas. The Community Showcase area will include the unique local businesses of the Downtown Brooksville area, and the Community Stage featuring some of Brooksville’s best talent. The Cowboy Circus will be performing this year, packing an interactive family-fun experience that will amaze and amuse with the antics of the “World’s Smallest Rodeo”!
The festival goes from 10:00 am on Saturday the 23rd and lasts until 10:00 pm that Sunday. Don’t miss out on the blueberry bash of the year!
